Matt Kassel, Esq. is an experienced trial attorney and vital member of The Sacks Law Group team. Matt represents clients across the State of Florida focusing his practice on estate planning, probate, real estate, first party property damage (residential and commercial) and complex business litigation. Matt’s transactional work includes forming corporate entities, structuring joint ventures, and drafting and negotiating commercial leases. In addition to his work with businesses and real estate professionals, Matt counsels families seeking comprehensive estate plans to protect assets. He also represents fiduciaries in all phases of probate administration and litigation.

Matt has prosecuted and defended lawsuits across Florida on behalf of fiduciaries, businesses, and individuals. Matt’s representative matters include but are not limited to contract disputes, real estate disputes, homeowners/commercial property insurance claim disputes (wind, hurricane, fire, roof, water, cast iron pipe), probate and trust disputes, consumer and creditor’s rights claims, business disputes, commercial landlord and tenant disputes, and homeowner/condominium owner association matters.

Matt is the owner-founder of Kassel Law Group, PLLC. Before founding Kassel Law Group, Matt was an associate at two boutique Tampa law firms where he handled a broad array of real estate and commercial litigation, probate, estate planning and business transactions. Prior to private practice, Matt served as Claims Counsel for a leading national title insurance underwriter where he resolved various title disputes and lawsuits against the company. Matt is a Florida licensed real estate agent and a title agent for Attorney’s Title Fund.
